Bonjour, Hallo, Hey and welcome to Maluka Collective! This is a little about us, the women behind the biz!
We are the founders – Lucile, Manouk, and Zoë – a trio of travel-loving, prosecco-sipping, girl power enthusiasts, who share a passion for all things beachy and disco-ball-adjacent.
Our story is a globe-trotting one. Zoë and Lucile met while solo traveling in Sri Lanka, Manouk and Lucile bonded over a love of surfing at a camp in Portugal, and Manouk and Zoë’s paths crossed in Morocco. Despite our different backgrounds (French, Dutch, and British), we discovered a shared love for adventure, feminism, and creativity, which led to the creation of Maluka.

Manouk is a force to be reckoned with. As our super-strength cross-fit addict, she brings a level of energy and determination to everything she does. She’s also our tiny pocket rocket, with a kind soul that shines through her. Manouk is someone who gives her all to any project, job, or idea, and her dedication is truly inspiring. Not only is she a crafty macrame pro and DIY queen, but she’s also an icon with the power tools, fearlessly taking on any challenge that comes her way.
As a dog mamma to Moos, arguably the best dog in the world (we stand by this!), Manouk also brings a nurturing and caring side to our team. She’s always there to lend a listening ear or offer a supportive shoulder to lean on. Manouk is a true example of how to balance strength and kindness, and we’re so lucky to have her on our team.
LUCILE
Lucile is our resident self-love powerhouse. Her passion for surfing, hiking, and nature is infectious, and she’s always pushing us to try new outdoor adventures. As a lino-printing extraordinaire, she has a talent for bringing her love of nature into her art. She’s the perfect balance of “give-no-fucks” when it comes to what others think, yet she’s also incredibly caring towards all humans and creatures. Lucile is the real foodie of the group, always feeding us delicious feasts and inspiring us to explore new culinary experiences.
What sets Lucile apart is her ability to create a judgement-free space where everyone feels comfortable being their true, authentic selves. Her commitment to embracing diversity and celebrating individuality is truly inspiring, and it’s something we strive to emulate in everything we do at Maluka. With her infectious positivity and unwavering support, Lucile is a vital member of our team, and we couldn’t imagine doing this without her.
ZOË
Of course, let’s not forget about Zoe, our resident multi-passionate creative strategist and solo travel addict! Zoe brings a unique perspective to our team, with her fearless attitude towards trying new things and encouraging others to pursue their passions and dreams.
While she may be a bit clumsy and can’t keep a plant alive to save her life, Zoe makes up for it with her unwavering support for the female economy and her commitment to encouraging and empowering others around her. She believes that failure is just a stepping stone to success and never lets fear hold her back from experiencing something new and is a cheerleader for others to do the same.
Zoe also has a keen eye for fashion and is known for making bold and colourful choices, especially when it comes to her ever-growing sunglasses collection. With her creative thinking and adventurous spirit, Zoe is an essential part of the Maluka Collective and helps us navigate the world with confidence and style.
